We use our expertise with computers and image processing to get the best we can from your photo. We will enlarge it, enhance it if necessary, edit it to remove the background, leaving just what you want - the best possible picture. If necessary, we can combine two photos, to bring your photographs together onto one plaque.

Then we apply the picture to a real wooden plaque. Our plaques come from Scotland - we buy them from the commercial arm of a charity that is devoted to encouraging the sustainable development of Britain's natural woodlands, and protecting our national heritage. We purchase wood from trees that had to be cut down or were damaged by storm; wood that otherwise would go to waste. By helping to develop the market for our native hardwoods, we believe we are helping to ensure their survival.

The plaque is treated with lacquer to seal the picture, then varnished and polished, to give it a deep, rich shine and protect it and prolong its life.
